We are looking for students to work at the welcome ceremony for new students starting fall semester of 2022. The ceremony is on August 25 in Aula Medica. The initiative focuses on research in the subject area of Medical science in a broad sense - including Medicine, Health care and Health. The last day to apply is April 28.

As in previous years, several of Stockholm’s higher education institutions are participating under the joint Academic Pride banner to draw attention to LGBTQI-related issues. Academic Pride 2021 arranges a seminar on breaking binary gender norms with language as well as social events for students. The Pride flag will be hoisted at all participating schools throughout the festival program, including KI’s campuses in Flemingsberg and Solna.

Since 2011 universities and institutions of higher education in Sweden have had greater freedom to decide themselves on the appointment of a professor. Karolinska Institutet has chosen to expose professorships to competition and has abolished the right to be promoted.
