Applications welcome to KIPRIME Fellows 2025
The application process for the fourth KIPRIME Fellows Initiative is now open for participants from Karolinska Institutet and other Swedish universities. This unique initiative, co-financed by the Gunnar Höglund and Anna-Stina Malmborg Foundation and KI, aims to nourish the next generation of Karolinska Institutet Prize for Research in Medical Education winners by offering an inspirational curriculum of mentoring and development activities for outstanding midcareer medical education researchers.
Programme
Each year KIPRIME Fellows consist of a cohort of fourteen highly promising global talents. Twelve of these participants are selected in a three-stage process by an international committee of former KIPRIME winners. Previously, two individuals from Karolinska Institutet could apply to the programme, and for the first time we are now extending this invitation to two researchers who are either from Karolinska Institutet or from other Swedish universities and have own collaboration with KI.
The fourth KIPRIME Fellows will be held at Karolinska Institutet, October 5-8, 2025. Full participation is required, including evening activities. Accommodation will be provided at a hotel near Karolinska Institutet. The programme is led by previous KIPRIME awardees, professors Lorelei Lingard, Brian Hodges and Kevin Eva.
During the programme, the selected fellows will work on describing their research programme in Medical Education and their future plans whilst being offered support, advice and mentorship from the group and leaders. Participating in the Fellowship programme is a unique opportunity to build a network with world leading researchers in the field.
