From Thursday 14 May, a new entrance to Campus Solna will open for pedestrians and cyclists. The new entrance is located at the junction of Solnavägen and Nobels väg. The current entrance to the campus, at the corner of Solnavägen and the access road to the E4/Essingeleden, will be closing shortly.

The sun glittered over Stockholm City Hall and the waters of Lake Mälaren as 143 doctoral graduates and two honorary doctors were conferred in the Blue Hall on Friday 24 April. Last Friday, KI celebrated one of the highpoints of the year as it awarded degrees to 19 jubilee doctors and 147 new doctoral graduates. The evening of 14 November in the Stockholm City Hall turned into a moving tribute to research advances from different perspectives – one such being gender equality: 50 years ago, barely 3 per cent of the new doctors were women; this evening it was 58 per cent.
