Karolinska Institutet retains its place among Sweden's 100 most attractive employers according to this year's edition of the Young Professional Attraction Index (YPAI). With this year's ranking of 8th, up from 42nd last year, KI is now at the very top alongside employers such as Ikea, Google and Spotify.

In a pilot project within the course Biomedical Communication, students have tackled the complex issue of antibiotic resistance (AMR) through gamification. When the AMR Knowledge Space Game was integrated into the curriculum, the response from both teachers and students was overwhelmingly positive. With the success of the pilot, the interactive game may become part of future courses and educational research at Karolinska Institutet (KI).

The spring term of 2025 began with an orientation week, a welcome ceremony, and a mingling fair for around 400 new students in the occupational therapy, physiotherapy, medical, and nursing programmes.
