The 2024 KI Fun Run: a colourful celebration
The KI fun run was a fantastic afternoon filled with community, joy and movement! With over 350 participants, 33 teams and 22 officials, we created a wonderful atmosphere.
Imaginative costumes and inventive team names made this year's KI fun run both colourful and entertaining. Stylish and unexpected finishes added an extra touch of gold to the experience. The sun was shining, the music was pumping, and together we covered an impressive 674 laps - a journey from last year's destination Amsterdam all the way to Lausanne in Switzerland. Whether walking or running, the afternoon was all about celebrating our collective ability to move.
A big thank you to our amazing participants, our tireless volunteers, our inspiring warm-ups, our eminent speaker and to Johanna, our HR Director, for being a role model through her presence and commitment. Thank you to the Avonova medic team who carefully monitored health status, to STAD and their important anti-doping prevention work. Thanks to the dedicated security guards who ensured safety on the roads, to Restaurant Allé 11 for good food and service, and a deeply impressed thanks to the cool band Daze and Wim Grooten for great music. A special thanks to Patrik, who with his unforgettable moves encouraged everyone who crossed the finish line.
