From 1 September 2023, there is a new routine for MEB access cards.

A first partial phase of work on Akademiska stråket begins in the period 24 July - 17 August, which runs from the Aula Medica and all the way to the Berzelius laboratory, along Nobels väg, Nanna Svartz väg and Berzelius väg.

During this period, the Commuter bus stop is moved from Nobels väg to the Karolinska Institutet Västra stop (at the bus stop for bus 72) on Tomtebodavägen.

The infrastructure unit will on 10 of July, starting at 19:00, carry out a planned maintenance work on KI Redcap. The service window is from 19:00 to 21:00. Estimated downtime is 1 hour.

The educational technologist's support will be closed due to summer holiday.

Until August 11, Elevator C in ANA 8 is being rebuilt.

Between 19:00-21:00 on the 20th of June maintenance work will be performed in the BioMedicum and KM-B buildings in Solna.
This may cause disruption on the fixed and wireless network.

Several applications will be out of service due to planned maintenance of storage and databases on Thursday 1/6 between 19.00 and 24.00. Amongst them are ELN, UBW, Diariet, IDAC, Integra, Rockmaker och Helkroppsdonation.

Due to the work on the replacement of the fire alarm system and detectors in the Admin house, a test will be carried out on Tuesday, May 30, between 07:00 - 08:00 am.

On Tuesday, May 23, maintenance work will be carried out from 19:00.
This can cause disruptions to the networks on Campus.

In order to test the alarm notification function to work as it should, a sharp test is made through a planned power outage in ANA8 on May 23 at 07:00-07:10 am. The power will be turned off in the entire house for about 10 minutes.

On Thursday, November 10, the work with the "New subway yellow line" will start above-ground blasting inside the work area on Solnavägen. The blasts will continue until February 2023.

Due to the fact that all state authorities must save energy, a decision has been made within UF to only decorate for Christmas with lighting in common areas, such as lunch rooms, coffee rooms and entrances.

Blasting for new metro tracks and entrances started in the beginning of 2020 and the construction of the new yellow metro line is expected to take six to seven years to finalize.

Due to necessary work on the water in Neo, requiring a complete water shut-off (including safety features such as eye showers and emergency showers), lab work cannot safely be performed on Saturday, November 12th. Further, there will be tests on the fire/evacuation alarm during the same day, so you are recommended not to be in Neo this day.

For those who currently rent a parking space and have a paper permit, it will no longer be necessary in the future. Now Aimo Park is digitizing these permits. The change applies as of October 1 for existing permits.

Web editors working with content on ki.se, education.ki.se, news.ki.se and staff.ki.se, can experience that it is slow to work in Drupal, the publishing system used to update existing and create new content on the website.

The gym is closed Tuesday 16/8 8-22 and Wednesday 17/8 6.30 -15.00 due to major cleaning.

The work in the entrance is resumed and during v. 51 the work begins to move the glass section/glass wall closer to the reception counter. The entrance will also be repainted during the Christmas holiday.

The treatment of the floors in the kitchen in Neo will start Friday afternoon July 8th and continue all weekend to July 10th.

On Friday 17 June, the restaurants Nanna Svartz and Svarta Räfven in Aula Medica, Campus Solna will be closed due to illness in the staff. Café Erik Jorpes in Aula Medica and the cafe in Biomedicum will remain open as usual.
