Guest lecture with lecture with Professor Siméon Choukem, President of the Cameroon Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Nutrition and a Founding-member and faculty of the “Diabetes Academy Africa”.
This lecture examines how infectious diseases, diabetes and other noncommunicable diseases intersect in sub-Saharan Africa, and what these links mean for prevention, clinical care and health systems facing a double burden of disease.
