FyFa is currently recruiting an Assistant Professor (BUL) in the field of human physiology or medicine in extreme environments, as part of KI's strategic recruitment programme. The position is an important initiative to strengthen research in this field.

A total of 64 applications were received. After careful review and digital interviews with the recruitment committee, three final candidates were selected and invited to an onsite visit on 8–9 December.

Symposium for everyone at FyFa

As part of the visit, an open symposium will be held where the candidates will present their research and the results achieved so far. All staff and students at FyFa are warmly welcome to attend!

Location: Peter Reichard

Programme:

09:00 – Presentation of candidate 1
09:45 – Presentation of candidate 2
10:30 – Coffee break
11:00 – Presentation of candidate 3

The titles of the presentations and the names of the candidates will be announced later.

Chalk Talk for a smaller group

On 9 December, a Chalk Talk will be held for a small group from FyFa. Participants will receive a separate invitation. Here, candidates will present their future research plans without slides or visual aids, using only a whiteboard.
Immediately after the presentations, a follow-up meeting will be held to discuss the candidates.
