At the end of January 2027, KLARA-EKB, which is used for systematic fire safety work, will be phased out. The transition to a new, web-based system for managing self-inspections is currently underway.

The new solution is provided by Dafo and will be introduced gradually across all departments and units where there are one or more control areas for systematic fire safety management.

What does this mean?

  • Checks within systematic fire safety management (SBA) will, after 31 January 2027, be carried out and documented in Dafo's web-based system.
  • The transfer of control areas and users has begun and will take place gradually during autumn 2026 and spring 2027.
  • Affected operations will receive information and support when their control areas are transferred to the new system.
  • KLARA-EKB is available up to and including 31 January 2027.

Next step

No specific action is currently required from departments.

Information about login, user permissions, training and practical management will be provided when each department / operation is connected to the new system.

Continue checks according to routine

It is important that those responsible for fire safety and fire safety inspectors continue to carry out checks within systematic fire safety management according to current routines during the transition period.
