The weekend of June 25-27, 2021, NORDU.net will make a necessary upgrade of Kaltura (KI Play).

The work will begin on Friday June 25 at 2pm and will continue until Sunday June 27 at 1pm. While the upgrade is in progress, the Kaltura service will periodically be unavailable.



This means that KI Play will at times be down while the work is in progress. Media that are in KI Play will therefore not be shown on eg play.ki.se and in Canvas. It is also not possible to upload new media.

During the holidays, fraud attempts by criminals increase, as we often have replacements in our systems, and as a result can miss deviating emails.

Starting on Monday 21 of June, Akademiska hus will continue the work of replacing the facade glass panes on Aula Medica, as these panes unfortunately have begun to break.

On June 4th around 11:40 and 12:00 there will be a student graduation in Neo. Please avoid the entrance and the area between Neo and TAH at this time.

During the night between June 1st and 2nd, there will be a power shutdown in Neo. *** Please note that contrary to normal expectations, it is the power outlets that provide BACKUP power that will be UNPOWERED. ***

To make it easier for a visitor to understand which subject a certain page belongs to and where on the website they are, we are introducing a new mandatory function on a page. Each page must be linked to a page above it in the structure.

This weekend (May 21st - 23rd) there will be work done of the floor in the Neo lunchroom. Starting on Friday with removing furniture to prepare, but you can still enter and use the fridges, freezers and microwaves, as long as you are mindful of any indications that portions of the lunchroom is off limits.

During Saturday and Sunday the lunchroom is COMPLETELY off limit.

On May 27th, between ca 08:00 and 12:00, there will be some work done to complement the evacuation alarms in some of the labs where it has been too difficult to hear. As a result of this, some audible alarms will be triggered for short periods during the morning and the delta repeaters throughout the building are likely to alarm from time to time.

On May 19th, the quarterly test and maintenance on the sprinkler system in Neo will take place. The work is expected to be done by lunchtime (~12) and we don't expect the audible alarm to be triggered.

Meetings booked in the webmail and online meetings in Teams will now be shortened by 5 minutes from previous default values. They will now be in 25/55/85 minutes.

All meetings that are created in Outlook will now become a Teams Meeting.

On May 4th, the quarterly test and maintenance on the fire detection and alarm system in Neo will take place. The work is expected to be ongoing between 07:00 - 11:00 and the alarm WILL sound occasionally.

Upcoming weekend 24-25 of April, Hemsö will perform spring cleaning of the garage in Novum, which means that no cars may be parked over the weekend.

Scheduled maintenance work for IDAC on April 22, 2021 between 13:00 and 22:00 will take place.
During this day, it will be possible to search for employees / students and use the "Reset password" service in the IDAC portal. Please, we do not ask you to use the remaining services in the IDAC portal between 12:00 and 22:00.

Blasting works will continue during week 15 and hopefully, if nothing delays this work, it should be finished after that.

On Thursday 22 April, starting after 7 pm, an update will be made of ki.se incl. education.ki.se, medarbetare.ki.se and nyheter.ki.se. The websites will be accessible to visitors during the update, but editors will not be able to log in and edit pages.

The bike storage in the Novum garage is currently unavailable, since it is being moved to next to the D-elevator,

During this time, you will not be able to use KI ELN.

The new upgrade has increased stability and fixes various previous defects.
New features include:
• a separate Powerpoint section for Mac
• the possibility to connect Microsoft Edge to Biovia
• the possibility to dictate voice notes in a body text section for PC.

The blasting at Hälsovägen in Flemingsberg will start again.The first blast will occur on Wednesday week 18, i.e. the 5th of May 2021.

Planned maintenance work for Primula April 7 2021 from 15:00 to 19.00 planned maintenance work for Primula will take place. During this time the system will be unavailable.

On the 6th of April Telia upgraded KI’s mobile subscriptions to improve call coverage and quality.

On the night of Wednesday, March 24, an update will be made to the search service. The search service will be unavailable for about an hour while the update is in progress.

As part of the safety measures for entering Neo, from 2021-03-15 and on-wards, the elevators will require the use of a KI card.
This means that when you enter an elevator in Neo you will have to use your card on the card reader inside before pressing the buttons.

On Tuesday February 23rd from approx. 17 to 18; there will be a disruption in the remote cooling ("fjärrkyla") in the Flemingsberg area.

The regular quarterly test of the alarm system in Neo will take place between 07 and 11 on February 15th.

On Thursday and Friday, 14th and 15th of January, there will be work done on the ventilation in Neo.

Since it is difficult to keep physical distance in the Neo lunch room, the Neo steering committee has decided to take the following measures:

From Wednesday 13th of January, opening hours in the Reception in Aula medica will change.

New open time: weekdays at 08:00-15:00.

To avoid problems with moving the shopping cart to UBW from punchout in e-commerce, you need to do the following:

On Thursday November 26, the changing rooms will close. They will remain closed until further notice.

Due to the new recommendations, we will limit the number of spots for each booking the campus gyms. The opening hours, however, will not change.

If you have a computer with an earlier version of Windows 10, you need to perform a mandatory update of the operating system. The update can take up to two hours, however installed programs/applications will not be affected by the update.

The background is that many, unrelated to our Campus, use the parking spaces that are intended for customers, visitors and employees.

Akademiska hus therefore chooses to reintroduce a parking fee for visitors, from 1 September 2020
