Work on the evacuation alarm in some labs in Neo - May 27th
On May 27th, between ca 08:00 and 12:00, there will be some work done to complement the evacuation alarms in some of the labs where it has been too difficult to hear. As a result of this, some audible alarms will be triggered for short periods during the morning and the delta repeaters throughout the building are likely to alarm from time to time.
As always when work is being done on the evacuation alarm or on the sprinkler system, there is a chance for false alarms, especially on the delta repeaters.
Reminder: the delta repeaters are not, by themselves, considered an evacuation alarm - they are intended to bring potential situations to the attention of people present and to give people a chance to localize fires early.
Whenever you hear an alarm or see flashing lights, you should always take stock of your surroundings, even if you know that planned maintenance is being done.
