Here are the KI researchers at this year's Researchers' Night (ForskarFredag)

On 26 September, the Science festival Researchers' Night (ForskarFredag) and the competition Researchers' Grand Prix, will be organised by Vetenskapens hus, KI, Stockholm University and KTH. The audience at Albanova consists mainly of upper secondary school students from Stockholm schools, but the event is open to anyone interested in research.

This year's theme is ‘The Earth beneath our feet’. Two researchers from KI will give lectures: Maria Kippler will talk about heavy metals in the soil, and Lisa Westerberg will talk about what happens when we are not on Earth, but in space instead.

As in previous years, Philip Pärnamets will participate in the panel discussion on facts vs. opinions.

During the ForskarFredag event, the Researchers' Grand Prix competition will also be held, where the winner is the person who can present their research in the most interesting way within four minutes. This year, KI will be represented by Farasat Zaman och Sigrid Wahlen.

Other programme items and the Science Fair will feature: Caroline Ran, Lars Bräutigam, Linda Thörn, Daniel Holl, Sofija Vuckovic och Ferenc Fördös, among others.

KI's educational programmes will also be represented with an information desk staffed by KI students.

Activities at SciLifeLab and The Cell

During Forskarfredag, on 26 September, activities and tours will also be held at SciLifeLab and The Cell. Students from KI will participate at The Cell, which is the Technical Museum's branch in Hagastaden. SciLifeLab och The Cell (I Swedsh).
