Join us in a seminar in which Dr. Pascal Maire (Research Director at Institut Cochin in Paris) will discuss his research on how gene expression networks regulate muscle plasticity. Supported by the Strategic Research Programme (SRP) Diabetes and by the Doctoral Programme in Cardiovascular Research (CVR).
Pascal Maire’s research focuses on transcriptional mechanisms controlling skeletal muscle development, identity and plasticity, including how transcriptional networks and genome organization regulate muscle fibre identity and metabolic phenotype.
The seminar will be followed by a mingle and “Meet the Professor”, providing an opportunity for PhD students, postdocs and other researchers to meet Pascal and discuss science in a more informal setting.
