Lectures and seminars MTC Infection and Immunity Seminar: "Unusual antigen receptor specificities of innate-like γδ and αβ T cells"
Welcome to a seminar with Taras Kreslavskiy, Department of Medicine, Solna. Those without access to Biomedicum, please gather at the reception at 12.45.
Isn't it amazing that our immune systems can potentially recognize every molecule in the universe? That being the case, why are some unconventional lymphocytes specific to a very restricted set of antigens and how is their activation governed? This is one of the questions posed by Dr. Taras Kreslavskiy. In addition, his lab investigates how antibody-producing and memory B cells emerge during immune responses, and how unconventional T cell populations recognize self and foreign molecules and contribute to immune tolerance and tissue function. Taras is very active in the KI seminar scene, often hosting speakers. This time the tables are turned and we finally get to hear Taras present. So mark your calendar and please join us for this exciting seminar!
