Two new reports in KI RIMS listing researchers by title and degree

KI RIMS, KI's research information system, now contains two reports designed to make it easier to find researchers at a certain academic level within a specific subject area. The first is the report "Degrees of Licentiate/Doctor", which lists all active researchers at KI who have completed a doctoral or licentiate degree. The second is the previously available docent report, which has now been expanded to include professors and is called "Docents and Professors at KI".

KI RIMS manages research information, and the purpose of the system is to collect, improve and highlight information about KI's research. Part of the work with KI RIMS involves compiling reports based on various needs within the organisation in order to create an overview of KI's research and researchers. You can read more about which reports are currently available and how you can generate reports in KI RIMS at the KI RIMS website.

New report containing all active researchers at KI with doctoral or licentiate degrees

A new report is now available in KI RIMS listing all active researchers at KI who have a doctoral or licentiate degree. The report is called Degrees of Licentiate/Doctor and is available for internal use by everyone at KI. The hope is that the report will help simplify the work of conducting competence inventories and various compilations based on degrees and subject areas.

If you are included in the report, it will be easier for those looking for people for various types of assignments to find you. If you have graduated from KI, your degree will be automatically retrieved to KI RIMS and added to both the report and your profile page on ki.se.

Are you not included in the report? If you have graduated from an educational institution other than KI, you need to add it yourself in KI RIMS

List of docents at KI, now supplemented with professors

A report with all docents at KI has been available for a year, and it has now been supplemented with professors. The addition makes the list of those at KI who are established as independent researchers more comprehensive. If you hold a docentship or professorship, it is now easier for those looking for people with the right competence to find you, for example, for assignments as a member of examination boards and other assessment assignments.

The report Docents and Professors at KI is available for internal use by everyone in KI RIMS and lists all employees and affiliates who hold a docentship or professorship at KI and are registered in either Primula or UBW-anknutna. If your docentship/professorship is missing from the report, please contact support at kib@ki.se for assistance.

The reports on researchers with different titles/degrees can be filtered in several ways to obtain the specific information you need, for example, all docents within a certain subject area. How to do this is described in the short instructional film Open and filter the Docents and Professors at KI' report in KI RIMS (2 min).
