Time for an annual access review in IDAC
Between 16 and 19 March, IDAC will send emails to all employees who own or are responsible for project folders (P:).
The purpose is for you, as the person responsible, to review and confirm that the permissions you are responsible for are still correct and justified.
The email contains a link that takes you directly to IDAC, where you can see a summary of all current tasks for which you are responsible.
If the project folder has multiple owners (main owner and co-owners), everyone will receive the same email and have access to the same access review. You will then need to agree among yourselves on who will carry out which parts of the review.
If you see resources you don't recognise
If the project folder is unknown to you, you as a manager have taken over ownership that belonged to a former staff member.
Regardless, the review must be carried out according to instructions, and you are responsible for transferring ownership to another colleague if you are not going to continue being the resource owner.
