Launch of the HEarts network: explore how to use art in health education
The teaching and learning unit is launching a new network within Karolinska Institutet for educators called HEarts – Health Education Arts. The overall idea is to explore how arts and humanities can be integrated into our curricula to enhance teaching and learning.
After last year's Educational Congress the interest in exploring how art and culture can be used in teaching was immense. We are therefore glad to announce the launching of a new network for educators HEarts- Health Education Arts. By visiting different exhibitions, performances, readings and more we would like to introduce you to various forms of arts and humanities. The network will run 2-3 HEarts events every semester where we will explore art forms and how these can be integrated as methods for education.
