Online apps for finding job assignments have become popular and have impacted the labor market. The researchers at Karolinska Institutet are conducting a survey-study to find out how work via online platforms affects the workers' health and well-being. Taxi drivers who get their job assignments through digital platforms can participate in this study.

About the study

Working via online platforms has become common in recent years. Especially in delivery, home services and taxis. Researchers at Karolinska Institutet want to investigate how platform work affects the health and well-being of digital platform workers. The aim of the study is to improve the working conditions and well-being of taxi drivers.

How does the study work?

Participants complete a short, anonymous online survey. It will take about 15 minutes of your time. The questions are about your work through digital platforms and your overall health and well-being. You can also choose to fill out a quick, 5-minute follow-up survey in 8 months if you wish.

Who can participate?

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • You live and work in Sweden
  • You work as a taxi driver via online platforms
  • You are over 16 years old
