Participants sought for studies Have you ever had symptoms of an eating disorder but never sought help?
Many people find it difficult to seek help for eating disorders. We aim to better understand the barriers they face and how these can be reduced.

We are therefore looking for individuals who:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Are currently experiencing, or have previously experienced, symptoms of an eating disorder (such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder [ARFID], or other related concerns)
- Have never sought professional help for these problems
- Are willing to share their experiences to help improve access to care
What does participation involve?
Participation in the study involves completing an anonymous online survey. The survey takes approximately 45 minutes to complete and includes questions about your experiences related to seeking help for eating disorders, as well as factors that may have helped or hindered your access to care.
How do we protect your privacy?
Your responses will be treated anonymously, and all information you provide will be handled in accordance with ethical research guidelines. We want you to feel safe when participating in this study, and neither your IP address nor any other identifying information will be collected.
Why is your participation important?
Eating disorders affect individuals from diverse backgrounds, but many still face barriers to accessing care. By participating, you can help us better understand how to improve access to treatment for everyone—regardless of background, gender, or socioeconomic status.
