Five years ago, our society was paralysed by the spread of a new virus, SARS-CoV-2, and the COVID-19 pandemic was a fact. Based on the points raised by the Swedish public inquiry Corona Commission from the first year of the pandemic, the Centre for Health Crises invites you to an open symposium to look back and reflect on good examples and challenges for the next health crisis.

Please note that the times are approximate and will be specified later. The venue will also be confirmed shortly.

Programme

  • Speeches and presentations that back at the COVID-19 pandemic and what we have learnt, but above all look at how universities can contribute to that. Speakers will provide perspectives from healthcare, county councils, researchers, the media and more.
  • Panel discussion on similar issues, where there will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
  • Mingle.

A more detailed programme will be presented in the near future.

The symposium will inspire and contribute to a subsequent forum for specially invited guests who worked directly on the COVID-19 pandemic in different ways.
