Internal meeting Faculty Forum - a meeting place for academic dialogue at KI

Faculty Forum will be a recurring meeting place for academic dialogue at KI. The forum brings together teachers and researchers with a doctoral degree currently active at KI to discuss issues that are important to KI’s development.

Registration is open until 16 November and the number of places is limited. 

What you can expect

The theme of this first Faculty Forum is Better prerequisites for research and education – what should KI prioritise?

This is an opportunity to discuss which changes would make the greatest difference for KI’s researchers and teachers, exchange perspectives with colleagues and provide input on which issues the faculty representatives should take forward in their continued collegial work. Discussions are held primarily in English.

After the programme, the conversations will continue over food and live music at Urban Deli in Forskaren, Hagaesplanaden 49.

Programme

• 16:30 Doors open
• 17:00–18:30 Better prerequisites for research and education – what should KI prioritise?
  The programme begins with a brief introduction to KI’s collegial work and how teachers and researchers can contribute through the faculty representatives. KI alumna Nina Rawal will then moderate discussions focusing on participants’ experiences, ideas and perspectives.
• 18:30–20:00 Networking, food and live music

Please note: The number of places is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registered participants will be asked to confirm their attendance closer to the event. Places that are not confirmed may be offered to others.
