Apply for Eurolife Summer School 2026

Are you studying medicine, biomedicine, or life sciences at KI and curious about the future of brain research?

Join the Eurolife Summer School “Biology of Brain Disorders (BBD)” in Dublin, 8-12 June, hosted by Trinity College Dublin.  

Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, BBD Summer School brings together students and leading researchers to explore the molecular mechanisms behind brain disorders. Set in the heart of Dublin, the programme offers a rare opportunity to meet patients, clinicians, and research teams, highlighting how discoveries translate into realworld care. This year’s theme is “Biomarkers and AI in Brain Disorders.”  

About the Summer School

  • Learn about cuttingedge research on biomarkers and AI in brain disorders 
  • Engage in interactive lectures, workshops, and discussions with experts and students from across the Eurolife network 
  • Connect science, clinical perspectives and real-world patient experiences  

Upon completion, participants will earn a certificate and a DATAETHICS Open Badge. 

Grant available for KI participants 

The Eurolife Summer School grant covers four nights of accommodation, lunches, coffee breaks, and the full academic programme for three participants from Karolinska Institutet. Please note: Travel costs and dinners must be covered by participants. 

The Eurolife and DATAETHICS series of summer and winter schools offer unique opportunities to explore current research topics together with students and experts from across the network.
