Wellness - part of a sustainable working life
As an employee at KI, you have the opportunity to take wellness hours and utilise wellness allowances and campus gyms - activities that contribute to a sustainable working life. Take advantage of the Health Hub's tips and services to break the sedentary lifestyle and get more physical activity into everyday life.
For you as an employee, there are several opportunities for physical activity and active recovery during or after the working day. Wellness at KI consists of several parts:
- Campus gym and classes
- Wellness hour
- Wellness allowance
Wellness services at KI
Campus gym
At the Health Hub's campus gyms in Flemingsberg and Solna you have access to gym equipment and training halls where you can take part in classes such as boxing, circuit training, dance or yoga. More about access to campus gyms and activities.
Wellness hour ("Friskvårdstimme")
Physical activity can done during or in connection with your working day. The time for the activities may amount to one hour per week (in total). The wellness hour may be used to the extent that the organisation allows. More about wellness hour (information in Swedish).
Wellness allowance
The wellness allowance for KI employees is SEK 3000 per person per calendar year. The aim is to stimulate and inspire regular physical activity. More about the wellness allowance.
Workshops, lectures and coaching
The Health Hub's wellness specialists are happy to visit your working group och department. We can give an introduction to the gym, training sessions for your group or give a workshop on, for example, stress or physical activity.

Active breaks
- Make it easier to take an active break by borrowing the mobile gym for your department. Mobile gym

Tennis Courts
