University College London (UCL) and Stockholm Trio initiate joint seed funding to support collaborations
UCL and Stockholm Trio have a joint call to support collaborations activities.
UCL and University Alliance Stockholm Trio are pleased to announce joint research seed funding as part of the collaboration between UCL and Stockholm Trio - Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Stockholm University.
The funds’ purpose is to catalyse new collaborations and to build international teams who are well positioned to apply for external research funding.
The fund intends to support collaborations in three key research areas:
- City Living in the Climate Crisis
- Planetary Health & Food Security
- Young People & Mental Health
The deadline for applications is 25 May 2025. Funding is available until 31 July 2026.
From climate to brain health: exploring new research frontiers with UCL
This call builds on a successful workshop when more than 40 researchers from University College London (UCL), Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University met in London on 8-9 April. The event kicked off a recently signed agreement between the universities that aims to expand research collaboration on sustainability, the climate crisis and mental health.
