IT will carry out a planned maintenance work on KI Redcap on February, 12. The service window is between 19:00 and 21:00.

This means that KI Redcap will be unavailable to all users during this time.

The planned update to KI's text matching programme iThenticate has been postponed. We will provide more information in due course.

Maintenance - KI RIMS on February, 10 (08:00-12:00).
Due to planned system maintenance, KI RIMS will not be available from 08:00 on February, 10. You will be able to log in after about an hour, but it may take until 12.00 before all functions are back to normal. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

There is a water leak from the ceiling in the Banting lunchroom in the Administration Building, where melting snow has caused water to penetrate through the roof.

For the time being, containers have been placed where the leakage has occurred, and Akademiska Hus together with their contractors Bitab and Ocab are reviewing the extent of the issue and what measures need to be taken.

On Thursday, 13 November, starting after 7 p.m., an update will be made to ki.se, including medarbetare.ki.se, nyheter.ki.se and utbildning.ki.se. While the update is in progress, it will not be possible to log in and work in the web publishing system.

The power has been restored at Campus Solna and all systems are back online.

A power outage in Biomedicum between approximately 2:20 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. (22/10) affected a data center in the building.
As a safety measure, parts of the center were shut down, which affected the website ki.se that was unavailable between 3:35 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The problem has now been resolved.

The IT department will continue to restore other affected systems during the evening.

Karolinska Institutet offers all employees fire safety training, that includes both theoretical and practical content. The fire safety training is mandatory for all KI staff and must be undertaken within 6 months from employment, and then repeated every 4:th years.

On Friday 19 September, between 13 and 14, there will be a test and maintenance on the fire detection and alarm system in Neo, including a mandatory evacuation drill, and we kindly ask you to participate in this potentially life-saving exercise.
