Water Leak in the Ceiling of the Banting Lunchroom in Solna
There is a water leak from the ceiling in the Banting lunchroom in the Administration Building, where melting snow has caused water to penetrate through the roof.
For the time being, containers have been placed where the leakage has occurred, and Akademiska Hus together with their contractors Bitab and Ocab are reviewing the extent of the issue and what measures need to be taken.
Bitab has already carried out initial actions on the roof and will perform a more in‑depth inspection on Monday, January 19.
Once both Bitab's and Ocab’s reports have been received, we will be able to assess the extent of the damage and determine when the premises can be fully used again.
We will provide more information as soon as the documentation has been compiled.
