New entrance to Campus Solna
From Thursday 14 May, a new entrance to Campus Solna will open for pedestrians and cyclists. The new entrance is located at the junction of Solnavägen and Nobels väg. The current entrance to the campus, at the corner of Solnavägen and the access road to the E4/Essingeleden, will be closing shortly.
As part of Region Stockholm’s expansion of the green line of the metro and the completion of the new Hagastaden station, construction work is under way on and around Solnavägen at KI’s Campus Solna.
A new entrance to Campus Solna, at the intersection of Solnavägen and Nobels väg, will open during week 20. The current campus entrance at the corner of Solnavägen and the access road to the E4/Essingeleden will be closing shortly. The change is part of the development of the new metro station and the renewal of Campus Solna.
The expansion of the metro and the construction of the new Hagastaden station are expected to be completed by the end of 2028. Once completed, the entrance to KI’s campus at Nobels väg and Solnavägen will be accessible only to pedestrians and cyclists.
