Hi Christina, why did you seek support from Clinicum’s advisors?

"I am subspecialized in HIV care and wanted advice on using machine learning to predict cancer among people living with HIV".

How did you experience the application process and the support you received from your Clinicum advisor?

"I found it smooth and quick to get in touch with an expert. We were able to arrange an initial meeting promptly, and since then, we have had good communication throughout."

Did the advice from Clinicum lead you to do something differently in your project compared to what you had originally planned?

"Yes, my doctoral student actually changed the focus of their dissertation to primarily concentrate on how machine learning can be used for prediction models in HIV epidemiology".

Do you have any tips for other researchers who are considering seeking support from Clinicum?

"Yes, the support is an excellent way to exchange thoughts and ideas about methodology and possibilities. It is helpful to bring clear research questions into the discussions with the advisor".
