KI student "Occupational Therapy Student of the Year"
Isidora Vera Valencia, a student at the Occupational Therapy Programme at KI, has been awarded "Occupational Therapy Student of the Year 2020" by the Swedish Association of Occupational Therapists.
KI student Isidora Vera Valencia receives the award as Occupational Therapy Student of the Year along with Jennifer Johansson of Linköping University, for her efforts to map interprofessional learning (IPL) within the occupational therapy programmes in Sweden. Isidora has also contributed to the development of IPL at the universities, based on her mapping. The prize was announced at the World Occupational Therapy Day, October 27.
Tove Berggren, a fellow KI occupational therapy student, received an honorary mention for her work as a student blogger. Tove's blog has contributed to raising awareness of the occupational therapy education and profession.
