The members of National Junior Faculty invite researchers and stakeholders from across Sweden to join the National Junior Faculty Conference 2026 and take part in discussions on the future of academic careers and research excellence.
Who should attend?
The conference welcomes early- and mid-career researchers, university leaders and academic managers, research funders, policy actors, and other national and institutional stakeholders in research and higher education. It provides a unique forum for dialogue, networking, and collaboration on research excellence and sustainable academic careers in Sweden.

About National Junior Faculty
National Junior Faculty is a network of Junior Faculty organizations at Swedish universities working to promote research excellence and strengthen conditions for early- and mid-career researchers. The network brings together researchers and representatives from Karolinska Institutet, Linköping University, Lund University, Örebro University, the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, Stockholm University, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Umeå University, and Uppsala University to foster dialogue, collaboration, and sustainable academic careers in Sweden.
