Lectures and seminars KI Alumni Lecture Series: Humanitarian healthcare - why, when and how?

On 11 December, we continue our KI Alumni Lecture Series to inspire a community that encourages health, science, knowledge and collaboration. An opportunity for alumni, students and researchers alike to learn and network.
KI alum Andreas Wladis holds a PhD from KI in general surgery and is an Associate Professor at KI within surgery, global health and economics, as well as professor at Linköping University within disaster medicine and traumatology. He is also an appointed expert at the Expert Group for Aid Studies EBA, and Cheif Medical Officer at Region Örebro.
In his lecture Andreas will discuss the current issues associated with humanitarian healthcare and possible ways forward in times of dramatic funding cuts.
