Updated Guidelines for Docents at KI – Effective from November 1
Karolinska Institutet has updated its guidelines for applying for docent. The new guidelines and instructions for appointment as a docent will come into effect on November 1.
What does the change entail?
Among other things, the changes include the introduction of the new qualification portfolio, and the teaching table will be replaced by a new table for teaching merits.
If you are planning to apply, please remember to use the correct version of the qualification portfolio depending on when you submit your application.
What is Docent?
Being a docent at Karolinska Institutet is an academic title, not a position. It represents a significant academic achievement, demonstrating scientific, pedagogical, and collaborative competence.
