The Kamprad Family Foundation awards SEK 13.5 million to researchers at NVS
The Kamprad Family Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Research & Charity decided this year to distribute SEK 164 million in research grants to projects to improve the quality of life of older people.
Breiffni Leavy, division of Physiotherapy, receives SEK 3.5 million distributed during 2021-2024 for the project ”eHealth to support motor-cognitive training in everyday life for Parkinson's disease”.
Lena von Koch, division of Family Medicine and Primary Care, receives SEK 3 million distributed during 2021-2023 for the project ”Teach Back to enhance self-management of prescribed medication - a feasibility study”.
Urban Ekman, division of Clinical Geriatrics, receives SEK 3 million distributed during 2021-2023 for the project ”Development and evaluation of new preventive cognitive rehabilitation and psychological treatment of cognitive impairment”.
Lena Dahlberg, (University of Dalarna) affiliated with the division of Aging Research Center, receives SEK 4 million distributed during 2021-2024 for the project "Causes and Actions of Late-life Loneliness (CALL)" - in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet.
