KI doctoral students receive scholarships from the Asthma and Allergy Association

Every year, the Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association's Research Fund awards the Kerstin Hejdenberg Scholarship to doctoral students in paediatric allergological research. Four of the recipients of this year's scholarship are researchers at Karolinska Institutet.
The purpose of the Kerstin Hejdenberg scholarship is to encourage paediatric allergological research with a focus on psychological and social dimensions, as well as prioritise research that can lead to improved communication between healthcare professionals and patients.
Through the scholarship, the fund wants to support young researchers in their work, and motivate promising researchers to continue their careers in the field of asthma and allergy.
