Participants sought for studies Would you like to participate in an anonymous survey about sexual choking?
International research, along with young people's own accounts, suggests that sexual choking has become an increasingly common and normalized practice. Despite this, we still know very little about young people’s experiences of sexual choking in Sweden.

We are looking for participants who:
• Are between 16 and 29 years old
• Have had at least one sexual experience with another person
What is the purpose of the study?
This is an anonymous digital survey study. This means that you will answer questions about your experiences and perceptions of sexual choking. You do not need to have personal experience of being choked or of choking someone else during sexual activity in order to participate.
Will I receive any compensation?
We do not offer compensation for participation in this study.
Confidentiality
The study has been reviewed and approved by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority. You will complete the survey anonymously. All information collected in the research project will be handled confidentially. No unauthorized person will have access to the collected information. The results will only presented on a group level.
Do you have questions about the study as a whole or about the survey?
Please contact us (see contact details below) and we will provide more information. You do not commit yourself to participation in the study by providing your contact detalis.
