Prestigious scholarship for research on stroke treatment in patients with dementia

Sara Garcia-Ptacek, postdoc at the Division of Clinical Geriatrics, has been awarded a scholarship for postdoctoral education in medical science, this by the Swedish Society for Medical Research (SSMF).

The project title is "Treatment of stroke and cognitive effects of statins in patients with dementia". In total, the funding amount is SEK 608,000 distributed over two years.
