Pernilla Lagergren and Jesper Lagergren awarded the Hilda and Alfred Eriksson Prize
Congratulations to Professor Jesper Lagergren, from the research group Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery and Professor Pernilla Lagergren, from the research group Surgical Care Science, both at the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery, who will be awarded the 2020 Hilda and Alfred Eriksson's Prize.
They receive this prestigious price "for their important contributions to understanding oesophageal cancer, its patterns, treatment, quality of life and survival".
The Hilda and Alfred Eriksson's Prize is awarded annually by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences for outstanding research "for the relief of diseases both in humans and animals".
