OnkPat professor earns prestigious grant from ERC

Klas Wiman, professor at the department of Oncology-Pathology has been awarded a grant from the European Research Council (ERC) for the project "Restoration of tumor suppressor function by induction of translational read-through of premature termination codons - a strategy for improved cancer therapy."

ERC Advanced Grants are designed for established and world leading researchers who strive to pursue ground-breaking research with exceptional scientific ambition. The funding is up to 2.5 million Euros per grant and lasts up to five years.
