In early 2025, we at the Department of Medicine, Solna (MedS) took stock of our research activity and our contribution to the advancement of knowledge by compiling data on our publications. Listed here are the ten articles that have been cited most frequently over the past three years.

As in previous years, KIB has helped us analyse our publications in 2025. It is gratifying to see that we continue to publish in top-tier journals and produce a large number of articles. In 2025, we published a total of 635 articles and were cited 87,000 times (this applies to articles published over the last five years). Here we present the three articles that have been cited the most.
