Congratulation to all our graduating students!
It´s graduation time at Karolinska Institutet! On the third and fourth of June we celebrate graduating bachelor’s and masters’ students through live-streamed ceremonies from Aula Medica. We want to wish you the best of luck on your future endeavors and say great job – you did it!

Lauren - Master's in Public Health Sciences 2021
What are you going to do next?
I am moving back to Vancouver, Canada to complete an accelerated nursing program in order to work in emergency public health fieldwork.
A favorite memory from your time at KI?
First, making lifelong friends from all over the world, and I am looking forward to visiting them in their home countries in the future. Second, getting to travel to Cape Town, South Africa for my thesis.
Felicia – Master of Science in Psychology 2021
What are you going to do next?
After five years at KI, the next step for me is to do PTP, practical service for psychologists, for a year to get my license. My PTP year I will do at a student health center in Jönköping, so in the near future, there will be a temporary break from Stockholm.
A favorite memory from your time at KI?
My recurring best memories from my study time are that in my everyday life (!!) I have been able to spend time with amazing people and to have knowledge delivered by committed lecturers. So incredibly luxurious both! I have laughed at different student parties, sung karaoke on a half-time cruise and been happy about both approved exams and the admission letter for my exchange!
Tove - Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy 2021
What are you going to do next?
After graduation, I will work at Habilitation and Health, as an occupational therapist in a team that works with children with autism.
A favorite memory from your time at KI?
A favorite memory is probably when I had the opportunity to talk to placement supervisors about my experience of the placement and what we as students need from a supervisor. In addition, I have also enjoyed my time as a student representative for the program.
Awaz - Master of Science in Dental Surgery 2021
What are you going to do next?
It´s with great excitement I will work at Folktandvården in the Stockholm Region!
A favorite memory from your time at KI?
Best memory? If I have to choose, it's probably the first day. I got up with my son in the lecture hall and could hardly believe what was going on. Even today I cannot describe the feeling!
