Welcome to an online lunch seminar where we introduce the principles of longitudinal data analysis and mixed models, focusing on how to choose, understand, and interpret models in practice.

Repeated measurements are common in clinical and epidemiological research – but analysing data collected over time comes with unique challenges. How do we account for the fact that measurements from the same individual are correlated? What should we do with missing follow-up data? And how can we answer the question we are really interested in: do groups change differently over time? In this seminar, we introduce the principles of longitudinal data analysis and mixed models, focusing on how to choose, understand and interpret models in practice.
