Lectures and seminars CBB teaching seminar: Longitudinal data analysis 2 - Linear mixed models
The Center for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (CBB) presents a biostatistics seminar.
Title: Longitudinal data analysis 2 - Linear mixed models
Speaker: Dr. Nils Hentati Isacsson, statistician, Department of Medicine, KI Huddinge
Building on Part 1 of our longitudinal data analysis series, this seminar introduces linear mixed models as an approach to analyze repeated measures data. We will develop the intuition behind the method before connecting this to the statistical framework and the practicalities of model fitting. The goal is to convey a working understanding of what linear mixed models are, when to use them, and how to get started.
Before the seminar, a limited number of sandwiches and drinks will be served on a “First come – first served” basis starting 12:00. Show up early and network!
