You will learn how to identify your skills and how these can be applied in jobs outside academia. You will also receive tips on how to define a strategy for skill development, and understand the importance of knowing your values and receive feedback.

About Chaperone
Chaperone (www.chaperone.online) is an online platform created to help scientists potentiate their careers. On this platform, students and young professionals can browse and book online 1-to-1 sessions with over 30 experienced career consultants (career specialists, advisors, counselors and coaches) on over 50 different support topics. In addition to online 1-to-1 sessions, Chaperone also provides online group training in the format of workshops or webinars. About the Speakers
Catarina Seabra
Catarina Seabra is currently the Science Communication Lead at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research at the University of Coimbra (IIIUC). Previously, she was the Program Manager at the CAJAL Advanced Neuroscience Training Program, a leading neuroscience training hub in Europe, and worked as a Neuroscientist and Invited Professor at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra, Portugal. Since 2019, Catarina has also been part of Chaperone as a Career Advisor.
