Are you going on an exchange this spring? Become our next blogger
Apply for a fun and paid extra job as a blogger for the Study Abroad Blog, where you share your journey and experiences on the blog and on Instagram.
On KI:s Study Abroad Blog, you can follow KI students during their exchange studies or internships. We are now looking for those of you who will go on an exchange during the spring semester of 2025 and want to blog to inspire more students to study or do internships abroad.
Assignment
Blog
The purpose of the blog is to inform and inspire more students to go on exchanges. The content should cover the entire journey, from practical preparations to fun experiences on site. You will create all content (text and images) on your own but with support from KI:s student communicators. You will participate in a mandatory training session where we go through how to write blog posts and what to consider when writing for the web. The work is ongoing throughout the semester and is estimated to take a maximum of 8 hours per month. You are expected to write two posts per month (preferably more if time allows). The assignment runs on a semester basis, so if your exchange starts during the semester, you will blog before your exchange, and if your exchange ends in the middle of the semester, you will continue to blog until the semester at KI ends. The posts can be both shorter and longer but should always include images.
In addition to the blog assignment, you are also expected to do a one-day takeover on one of KI's student aimed Instagram accounts.
Salary
Your salary is 4,650 SEK including holiday pay for one semester and is paid after the assignment is completed. In addition to a fun and rewarding assignment, you will get a good merit on your CV, training and coaching in writing for the web, and get to know other student ambassadors at KI.
Who are we looking for?
You should enjoy writing, sharing your experiences, and be comfortable both in front of and behind the camera. We are looking for 4-5 people.
How do I apply?
If you are an international student you need to have a Swedish personal number to apply. Email your application with a personal letter where you tell us who you are, where you are going, and why you want to blog no later than Sunday 15 December to ki-student@ki.se. Also, tell us in your application if you have done any similar work before.
