Applications open for the NeurotechEU Internship Program at Boğaziçi University
The NeurotechEU Internship Program at Boğaziçi University offers undergraduate and master’s students from the NeurotechEU alliance a unique opportunity to gain hands-on research experience in cutting-edge neuroscience and neurotechnology laboratories.
The program offers immersive laboratory training while promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of technical and scientific skills. Participants will be integrated into active research environments and gain hands-on experience in experimental design, data analysis, scientific communication, and collaborative research across fields such as molecular biology, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, and neurotechnology.
Program at a glance
When: June to August 2026.
What: Laboratory internships (up to 3 months, depending on the laboratory).

Who: Bachelor’s and Master’s students of the NeurotechEU alliance.
Funding: Students selected for the Internship by the Boğaziçi University will have the possibility to apply for Erasmus+ funding and a top-up stipend from NeurotechEU.
How to apply
As a KI student, you will first need to apply internally. Please send the following documents:
- Motivation letter
- Recommendation letter (from your supervisor, teacher, mentor or similar)
- CV
- Transcript of Records
Applications should be sent to neurotech@ki.se before January 23rd 23.59. Late submissions will not be accepted, and only complete applications will be reviewed.
Successful candidates will have to apply directly to Boğaziçi University no later than January 31st. We advise you to start looking at the options available here.
**Please note: Boğaziçi University will make the final selection of the 26 candidates who will participate in their summer internship. Being selected internally by KI does not guarantee a place in the summer internship program.
