"We want to provide the best support to research projects"
Tahnee Marquardt is an advisor in Clinicum’s network and works as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Compliance & Data Office at Karolinska Institutet. Tahnee provides support in areas such as REDCap, ethical issues, and the registration of clinical studies and trials.

Hi Tahnee! Why are you part of Clinicum’s advisory network?
"I am not a statistician, but I am part of the Clinicum group to strengthen collaboration between Clinicum and CDO (Compliance & Data Office). Both Clinicum and CDO support researchers in their studies/trials and cover different important areas".
What do you help with?
"I develop and implement new ways to enhance collaboration between our various support functions and teams. There are many ways to streamline how researchers can benefit from relevant support functions, and I try to make our resources more accessible to provide research projects with the best possible conditions".
"Right now (in 2025), we are running a pilot study to explore whether we can expand support around REDCap, Karolinska Institutet’s preferred data collection tool, to create eCRFs and collect data online. In this project, we offer support in setting up REDCap projects and provide input from a Clinicum statistician to ensure that the data collected is as useful as possible".
What kind of questions can people ask you?
"Questions about REDCap, data agreements, ethics applications, and study registration".
How can I best prepare for a consultation with you?
"It is helpful to come with specific questions and/or an idea of what you want to achieve with your study/trial, so that we can provide the best support regarding what is needed to get you there".
