Three research environments unite for joint facility management conference

Facility management (FM) staff from KI's three research buildings: ANA Futura, Biomedicum and Neo gathered at Häringe Slott on 27–28 May for the first-ever joint FM conference. During the conference, it became increasingly clear that collaboration is the key to success.
Over two days of workshops and discussions, colleagues connected across teams to define a shared vision for service quality. This vision is built on five pillars: structure, competence & professionalism, communication & attitude, flexibility, and helpfulness.
Throughout the conference, collaboration emerged as the central theme.

“Connecting with colleagues from across KI is vital for our future collaboration,” says Lars Frelin, Facility Manager at ANA Futura.
He continues:
“It establishes a shared vision, allowing us to support KI's research and education as effectively as possible. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to shaping the future of FM at KI.”
The conference closed with a stronger sense of community and a clear, shared direction for the future of FM at KI.
