Researchers at MMC presents new article at annual conference in Washington

Researchers at the Medical Management Centre (MMC) at the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics, presented a new artitcle about policy formulation and implementation at the 8th Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Washington DC, USA.

Results showed that policymakers use evidence in different ways and that policy actors’ roles and functions had a great influence on the choices of strategies and collaborators in all policy phases.

Helena Strehlenert, PhD student at the Medical Management Centre, Linda Richter-Sundberg, PhD student at the Department of Public Health and Clinical Medicine, Epidemiology and Global Health at Umeå University and co-authors Monica Nyström and Henna Hasson (also at the Medical Management Centre) have conducted a comparative study of two national policies that was recently published in Implementation Science.
