Update of ki.se on December 2
On Thursday 2 December, starting after 7 pm, an update will be made of ki.se incl. education.ki.se, staff.ki.se, news.ki.se and kise-drupalkurs.ki.se. The websites will be accessible to visitors during the update.
The update includes the following:
News promo
Now you can create a news promo which automatically retrieves the title, image, lead and link to the news itself, then you insert it on the page you want it to be visible on.

We are working on you also being able to create promos directly from a page, but that will come in a later update.
Subscribe to a part of a calendar
Today you can subscribe to a calendar list as RSS. The lists are created by an editor and can be found in various lists on the website.
Now we have extended this so that you as a user can decide what you want to subscribe to and how you want to add the calendar. You can now do a filtering / search in the KI calendar, then choose to subscribe to that search either as an RSS feed or as a so-called Webcal. The latter means that you get the entire flow to your own calendar, for example in Outlook. If there are changes and additions to the flow, it is updated in your own calendar.
Blurry screenshots
- We have had problems with screenshots being blurry on pages. It is a bit different depending on which computer and screen you use, but we have tried to resolve the problem as best we can.
Now all images that are uploaded in the categories "screenshot" "graphic-illustration-icon" will be less blurred. However, you must be careful to select the Landing page format when inserting such an image, otherwise there will be no difference.
The block Agenda
We have made several changes and improvements to the block Agenda, which can be used both at an event and on a page:
- Improved printouts. If there is an agenda, it is printed in a much more appetizing way than before. At the moment, however, only day 1 is printed if it is an agenda with more days (this will be resolved in a later update).
- It is now possible to make internal links in an agenda - however, this only applies to new agendas, not existing ones!
- Previously, the dates in the agenda disappeared if you used that block more than once on a page / event. That is no longer the case.
- Agenda accompanies iCal if you choose to download a specific event to your calendar.
Google descriptions of profile pages
In the past, Google has fetched some strange information if you have not filled in something on your profile page. Now we've told Google what to index (name, email, title, organisation) so that it appears in search results.
Reminders Form page
We have also added reminders on the page type Form page.
Bug fixes
- Heading level 3 which was bold or italic was incorrectly formatted.
- Mandatory to fill in link text in related content to avoid the link just being printed out as is.
