Credit transfers at first- and second-cycle level are now managed in Ladok. This means that the entire process – from application to decision – is handled directly within the system.

A national survey shows that pedagogical accomodations are perceived as helpful by students, but that the process of accessing such support is often complicated. The findings also highlight the need for greater general academic accessibility, which benefits all students.

More places will be available this year for the eAT exam, which is a prerequisite for applying for registration as a foundation doctor. On August 31, 80 new master's students from 23 different countries were welcomed to the Department of Global Public Health at Karolinska Institutet. During a welcome day, they got to know their new department, received tips on the use of AI tools, answered a quiz from Gapminder, and got to know fellow new students. In addition, they were treated to a lecture by former state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell on the topic "Is the pandemic over?"

In order to simplify planning for both teachers and students, the Committee for Higher Education has decided that teaching at the basic and advanced levels will take place via distance for the remainder of the spring term.
