The Faculty Board is now inviting notices of interest for the positions of chairperson and vice-chairperson and for the two ordinary members. The Faculty Board is now inviting notices of interest for the positions of chairperson and vice-chairperson and up to five ordinary members for the Docent Committee. The Docent Committee decides on matters relating to applications for the title of docent and on procedural instructions for the acceptance of docents in accordance with the regulations.

As KI staff, you can now apply for the assignment as Director of the Center for Imaging Research (CIR), who will be responsible for the management and future development. The assignment will run from 1 October 2022 to 31 December 2024, with the possibility of extension, and covers up to 50% of a full-time employment. The assignment must be combined with an existing employment within KI or Region Stockholm during the entire assignment period. Last application date is August 15.

Several high-profile cases of intimidation, harassment and imprisoned researchers demonstrate that academic freedom is under considerable pressure. Earlier this May, KI highlighted the situation during the seminar "Academic freedom and international collaboration in a turbulent world."
